The non-for-profit Geminus provides these services for the Regional Mental Health Center throughout Lake County, Indiana; Geminus Head Start for Lake and Porter Counties.
The professionals of Geminus Corporation bring over six centuries of combined management experience in their areas of specialty. Geminus staff played key roles in achieving licensing by Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addictions approvals of Medicare/Medicaid certification, accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). All the professional treatment centers that collaborate with Geminus are accredited by the Joint Commission or CARF.
Geminus oversees $63 million operating budgets of Regional Mental Health Center, and Geminus Head Start and provides support services to the 770 employees of these two organizations. In 1992, Geminus had 42 staff members. Today our staff of 320 provides services to these organizations. In addition to serving as the administrative services organization for the community mental health center, Geminus also manages the Community Behavioral Health Network (CBHN).
