Teddy Bear Day Care is a State Licensed Childcare Center offering care to children 6 weeks to 10 years of age. We have been in business for over 25 years. Being a licensed center, we comply with state laws and regulations. Children have a natural inclination to learn. They want to learn, they can learn and they must learn. The role of our child care center in children's lives is to provide an environment with stimulating materials, experience and empathetic leadership that keeps curiosity alive. The total learning environment can stimulate young children to want to learn. Modern society calls for basic tools in language, mathematics, social and physical sciences, and the arts. The future demands a self-confidence and an ability and desire to continue to learn in order to cope with inevitable changes. Our program must foster mental development and prepare children well in physical development, emotional development, social development and creativity. Through individual, small group and whole group activities our program structures a flexible, individualized and academically sound program.

Children form an opinion of school from their early educational experiences and Teddy Bear Day Care, Inc. strives to send them on to the elementary school with positive feelings toward learning and school. Our program hopes to provide a background of experiences and attitudes that will make living and learning more meaningful.
