Hog prices fell today to their lowest levels in nearly two weeks as supplies of animals available for slaughter mount amid weakening demand for U.S. pork. Moreover, percolating tensions in the Korean Peninsular prompted fears of decreased demand from South Korea, the sixth-largest buyer of U.S. pork.
Raw sugar gains as India's supplies dwindle

Raw sugar climbed in trading today on renewed supply concerns in India, the world's second-largest producer of the commodity. Adverse weather conditions there have resulted in lower crop yields, prompting the Indian government to cut off exports as it shores up its domestic supply.
