Mallers & Swoverland Orthopaedic Physical Therapy is an out-patient based clinic in Fort Wayne, IN established in 2002 providing advanced care in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. Our mission is to provide high quality, outcome based physical therapy utilizing our advanced post-graduate training in manual therapy to assist you in maximizing your well-being. We treat individuals with a number of different musculoskeletal issues; low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, dizziness, thoracic pain, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, TMJ dysfunction, tendenosis, tendonitis, MVA, sports injuries and worker's compensation injuries to name a few.
We employ physical therapists who have advanced manual therapy training from an accredited institution. We are the only clinics in this area with physical therapists whom have a Fellow distinction from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists(AAOMPT). A Fellow distinction is given to a physical therapist who completes post-graduate residency of 440 hours of clinical practice under the supervision of a Fellow as well as more than 200 hours of classroom instruction in theory, principles of evaluation and treatment, and clinical decision making. The classroom training is followed by written, oral, and live patient exams. We are also a teaching facility for residency students wishing to pursue their Fellowship with AAOMPT.
