My father is an extremely meticulous and material-minded businessman. I'm in the ministry and kind of a disappointment to him even though my career, by all accounts, has been successful. When I visit I only stay for as many days as I have a great outfit to wear, because he comments if I repeat one. How can I get him to value me for who I am, and not what I have?

Life just doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I don't know what changed, I just know nothing feels right anymore and I don't understand what's happening to me or what to do about it. I can't go to counseling because my husband is a pastor.

My husband and I are on a very tight budget. It's a struggle just to pay all our bills every month. I was raised by parents that tithed faithfully so it bothers me that we cannot give right now. My husband believes that since we serve in the nursery and lead a small group we are giving in a way that we can. Do you agree?

I love my husband but I can't get any sleep he kicks the covers, thrashes around and snores until the windows rattle. I have been sleeping in the guest room lately, which makes him feel insecure - he takes it personally. Each of us thinks the other one is selfish.
