We pray for all the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake that hit Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas on January 12, 2010. We have heard from our contacts in Haiti and know that the children with whom we work are safe and alive. However, the widespread damage and far-reaching tragedy has greatly impacted an already impoverished nation. Hand In Hand has set aside a Haiti Relief Fund and will be collecting monetary donations to help in any way we can, specifically with the immediate needs of the orphanages with whom we currently work. For the last 35 years we have been helping people find their way to children who are desperately in need of parents. More than 7,000 children have been placed in loving homes throughout the United States. We are a Christian-based, non-denominational, licensed, non-profit agency. The countries with which we work set the requirements for adoptive parents. We currently have programs in several countries to offer a wide range of choices for childless couples, singles, older individuals, and families with children.

We have representatives in each of the countries who work with the orphanages and governments and assist our families when they travel. Hand In Hand carefully adheres to the laws of each country and to the guidelines set forth by the Hague Convention on International Adoption Law. Hand In Hand is a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit adoption agency incorporated in the State of Colorado, with offices in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, and Minnesota.

At Hand In Hand, children are our focus. We attempt to locate the best possible family for each child, rather than the other way around. Hand In Hand assists in the placement of children from newborn to 16 years, of age, regardless of the child’s heritage.

Our full service approach to adoption includes application process, adoptive parent training, home study, dossier preparation, notaries and certification of documents, placement, travel training, post placement, support groups, summer picnics, holiday parties, and Motherland tours.
