Church Alive Worship Center is a non-denominational fellowship. We proclaim the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. We value simplicity in our meetings with emphasis on vibrant worship which encourages deeper intimacy with God.
We desire to make a difference in our community as we strive to fulfill Christs love for the church. Our hearts are open as we enjoy our family-friendly atmosphere. Our church offers ministries for all ages.
We have two Sunday morning services, the first service begins at 8:30 a.m. and the second service begins at 10:30 a.m. Messages on Sunday are informally pragmatic and relevant to daily living. It is a joy for us to love and serve those whom Jesus loves.
Above all, our goal is to be a biblical New Testament fellowship. We are pleased you have taken an interest in the Church Alive web site. Our desire is that this site will help you attain a clearer picture of what Church Alive Worship Center is all about.
We are, first of all, Christian believers striving to make Jesus Christ central in our lives. He is Lord of the church, and it is around Him that our visions, values, priorities and goals revolve.
Diverse, Yet Unified
The Holy Spirit has blessed us with a rich diversity of racial, educational, and socio-ecumenical backgrounds. He has also brought about a unity that communicates warmth and love to all.
A Caring Family
Our fellowship is much like a caring family that values community, informality, spontaneity, freedom of worship, humor, fun commitment and loyalty.
We believe that every person has gifts and talents, and something of value to offer; and that people mature spiritually as they give of themselves. All of us can actively minister to the needs of others.
At Church Alive Worship Center, we place a high priority upon openness and flexibility, believing such a climate is conducive to personal, relational and spiritual growth. We are casually structured to allow for freshness and innovation.
We offer an inspiring, non-traditional approach to worship. We desire to be a congregation that labors together in the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
We believe in one Living and True God
, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; and that this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all.
We believe the Scriptures
of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.
We believe in God the Father
, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
We believe in Jesus Christ
, the only begotten Son of God the father, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teaching, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal visible return to earth.
We believe in the Holy Spirit
, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
We believe all men
are sinners by nature and by choice remain under condemnation; and that God regenerates and baptizes by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ commissioned two
ordinances to the church: Baptism and the Lords Supper. We believe in water baptism and communion open to all believers.
We believe also in the laying on of hands
for the empowering of the Holy Spirit, for ordination of pastors, elders and deacons, for receiving gifts of the Spirit, and for healing.
