The Journey Continues with a New Drum! by RainSong First Nations Music & Storytelling on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 10:14am On Sunday evening October 17th another step was made in the journey of reconciliation and restoration here in Indiana, with the dedication of Heartland church's new drum. This drum was acquired in the hope of establishing a Native American Gathering in the Fort Wayne/Kekionga area. *MOM TIMEBeginning This Friday, Nov. 5th in room 4 Mom Time is for moms who are looking for fellowship, connections with other moms, and encouragement. Come join us for friends, food, faith, and fun every other Friday morning from 9-11 AM. There will be a one-time fee of $15 for activities and materials as well as a possible fee each time for childcare. We are in need of a few women who would be willing to provide childcare for us during Mom Time. Operation Christmas Child
Shoebox collection begin this Sunday! Its time to pack Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes! You can help get a shoebox of gifts to kids around the world by taking home a shoebox to pack. Please see Lori in the foyer Sun., Oct. 24th and Sun., Oct. 31st to pick up boxes and a few starter gifts. All boxes need to be returned to the church no later than Sun., Nov. 7th.

School of the Holy Spirit
SCHOOL OF THE HOLY SPIRITNov. 14, Dec. 12, and Jan. 16 Beginning Nov. 14th at 6 PM, we will be having a monthly School of the Holy Spirit. This will be a time of intense, extended worship, charismatic communion, and user friendly teaching on the third person of the trinity, the Holy Spirit. This experimental time of inspiration, instruction and ministry activation will provide a safe atmosphere for engaging the Holy Spirit. We will be partnering with New Life Church (formerly Our Glorious King Anglican Church, Fort Wayne) in this training and ministry time.
