Implemented in March 2006, this advanced technology eliminates the need for "paper" charts and streamlines the physicians' access to vital health information. We are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality of care by using the latest in medical software technology.
We are happy to announce our newest office location to serve our patients. Available Monday - Friday, we are now seeing patients in our LAPORTE OFFICE. The office is located in the Legacy Building at 1300 State Street, Suite 2B, LaPorte, IN 46350. We would like to introduce the newest member of our clinical staff, Carol Parks, NP-C. Carol is a nurse practitioner who coordinates our clinical research projects and is also involved in stroke prevention/education for our patients. What is a neurologist?
A neurologist is a medical doctor with specialized training in diagnosing, treating and managing disorders of the brain and nervous system.
What does a neurologist treat?
Common neurological disorders include headache, numbness, pain, dizziness, seizures, epilepsy, tremors, sleep disorders, Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, brain and spinal cord injuries, brain tumors, and ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease).
How are neurological disorders diagnosed?
Diagnosis involves getting a detailed health history of the patient through a neurological evaluation which usually includes neurological testing.
