Ice Sculptures & Blocks by Jose Hernandez & Sons is a company that specializes in sculpting blocks of ice into unique shapes and sizes. With a combined experience of 60+ years, Mr. Hernandez and his crew have become the premier ice sculptors for the city of Indianapolis. Jose Hernandez (master carver) began his culinary career with Hyatt Regency Hotels as a chef in Indianapolis. In order to work closer to home, Jose began his own company, Jose and Sons Ice Creations, specializing in hand carved ice sculpture. Joses knowledge of clay and sculpture, from his artistic training, fed naturally into his ice and food sculpting. Jose and Sons has been growing 25 years, from a two-cline bell machine operation in a garage to a professional business with holding space for over 500 blocks of ice. Jose and Sons is family owned and operated by Jose Hernandez (master sculptor), Angelo Hernandez (lead sculptor), and Kathleen Hernandez (business management/sculptor). The company also specializes in gourmet sculpting and chocolate fountain displays and rentals, which Jose has been doing for 20 years.
