Jim and Hope Terpstra started B & F Pools back in 1975 building in ground pools. They saw a need to carry chemicals to help service the pools they were installing, so they opened up a small retail store in DeMotte. BioGuard was chosen as the brand of chemicals to carry because they stressed educating the dealers so that they could help their customers better. Shortly after we got started our business grew towards the north and we opened up another retail store in Highland. We are family owned with Tim (son), and Mark (son-in-law), running the construction and sales of the in ground pools. Hope (owner) and Terri (daughter), manages the retail stores. We serve an area radius of about 40 miles from our DeMotte location.
