At The Animal Den we know that your pets aren't just animals, they are part of your family. While they stay with us, whether they come for a day or a few weeks, we strive to make them feel right at home.
Our FIRST CLASS facility offers individual indoor/outdoor Dens, Deluxe Suites, Indiana's premier Cat Resort featuring our own “catnasium,” play grounds, disease prevention air purification systems, soothing music, and so much more. Situated on 10 acres in rural Indianapolis, our walking trails are popular with the canines and all pets enjoy our peaceful country setting.
Our AWARD WINNING service includes extended Sunday hours, customized dining and fitness programs, daily laundry and housekeeping service, full service bathing and grooming, hourly daycare, group play in our Day Time Retreat, small group personalized Training, curbside service, and individualized check in.

In business since 1998, we aim to provide a state of the art facility combined with exceptional service where everyone feels comfortable leaving a member of the family. Our company's business concept is to ensure that every pet is safe, secure, and content and this is carried out in our procedures, policies, services, and facility design.
Setting out to reinvent the dog kennel, we designed an air ventilation and purification system that keeps your pet not only comfortable year round but also prevents the spread of airborne illnesses. Keeping in mind that pets are used to living in homes, we strive to keep every pet as comfortable and healthy as possible. Daily sanitation of every den and disinfection of all bowls as well as washing every pet's bedding as needed and on the day they go home are just a few tasks that our staff perform.
In planning the expansion of our facility and services, we realized some pets would benefit from a quieter Den. The addition of Deluxe Suites has allowed us to offer that additional boarding choice. Our Suites offer greater climate control year round, as well as a paw and joint friendly floor, and a Kuranda bed which allows your pet to sleep off the floor in snuggly comfort. For those pets who enjoy watching television, The Animal Planet can be viewed on a flat screen LCD TV. Our Deluxe Suites have become a popular boarding choice for many of our Canine Clients!
Also at The Animal Den is Indiana’s only “Catnasium” in our spacious Cat Resort. The Cat Resort offers air conditioning/purification, The Animal Planet for their viewing pleasure, individual playtime on the €Catnasium,” and window hammocks for lounging and enjoyment of the wild bird center. Each cat enjoys playtime in the Resort and Cuddle Breaks have proven to be a Feline Favorite!

The Animal Den also offers Doggie Daycare, Training, and Daytime Retreat. Our state-of-the-art Training and Retreat center features soft padded flooring that is gentle to joints and pads, two bright LCD televisions, air purification and ventilation, and plenty of room for our Training and Retreat canine friends. Doggie Daycare is available daily for an hourly fee for those times when you need us for just a couple hours.
Daytime Retreat offers small group supervised playtime with other canine friends. The day features indoor and outdoor playtime with lots of toys, naptime, and TV time. As the old saying goes, a tired dog is a good dog!
Doggie Daycare is available daily at an hourly rate for those times when you can’t have your pet at home. Available Sunday - Friday 7 am – 6 pm, and Saturdays 7 am - 4 pm, for those instances such as having your carpets cleaned, a cookout, home repairs, or any time you need a safe, comfortable place for your pet for just a couple hours.
Our Training Academy specializes in small group, personalized training for you and your dog. Our classes are a real life entertaining and practical training guide where adequate attention is given to everyone. We can help you and your pet get going to a peace of mind by providing the necessary training tools to achieve results.
