Women's Midweek Bible Study A New Song Planted by Streams of Water is a study of Psalms 1, 34, 37, 49, 73 and 111 by Concordia Publishing House will begin Wednesday morning, September 29th, at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Room. This study provides six weeks of faith narratives based on biblical psalms. Each of the faith narratives were written by a real woman facing real life issues - just like you. To derive the greatest benefit from your study you should read each psalm in its entirety at the beginning of the week and review it from time to time. Write your thoughts and responses in its margins. Answer daily questions as best fits your unique situation and time available. There are group questions and a short DVD. The sessions will be led by Pastor Riordan.
Faith After SchoolFaith After School is on to a great start. We have 20 enrolled students. They range from kindergarten through the fifth grade. The children and parents are excited to be part of Faith After School. If you would like to help by sharing a special talent, or skill with our children please contact Jennifer Welliver at 342-3587, or on this site. Please continue to tell family and friends about our great program. Busing is available from Southside, St. John White Creek, St. Peter’s, St. Bartholomew, and Signature Academy.

“The Lutheran Witness”The church is due to send in the renewal for subscriptions for all members subscribing to “The Lutheran Witness”. If you do not currently subscribe, but would like to, please call Sarah in the church office or email office@faithontheweb.org. Please send your subscriptions in to the office by October 11th.

The Indiana District Youth Gathering will be held Friday, November 12th through Sunday, November 14th. It will be at the Marriot East Hotel in Indianapolis. This year’s theme is Committed. More information to come.
Matthew West ConcertMatthew West is coming to Columbus Christian School with his “The Story of Your Life Tour” on October 10th. Josh Wilson and Johnny Diaz are performing with him. These artists are among the most popular Christian artists in music today! General admission tickets are on sale now for $20 (floor) and $15 (bleacher). Order tickets online at www.matthewwest.com or by calling the school office during office hours. Doors open at 5:30 and the concert begins at 6:30 p.m.
Trinity Lutheran HSTrinity Lutheran High School presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, November 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th at 7:00p.m. Tickets go on sale October 1st. More information to come.
Camp Lakeview’s 6th Annual Dinner Auction“Building Together” (based on Ephesians 2:19-22) will be the theme of Camp Lakeview’s 6th Annual Dinner Auction to be held at the Holiday Inn Columbus, Saturday, November 20th. Proceeds from all winning bids will go to the camp’s general fund. Tickets are $50/person or $400/table if purchased by October 1st. After October 1st, tickets are $60/person or $500/table. Tickets are available by calling the camp office at 342-4815. Doors will open at 5p and dinner will be served at 6:30p.

Sunday Youth Morning StudyYouth Group takes on a different look this year. Jr/Sr High will meet together on Sunday mornings from 10:30a-12:00n as a time for joint Bible study and youth group activities. The theme for this fall will be “Faith in Action.” Fellowship through activities. Witness through service. The liturgy as the rhythm of God’s Word. Vocation as the call of faith. The focus of Faith in Action is putting to good use the many gifts of God! I look forward to exploring--and using--ours together!

Wednesday Evening ServicesWe continue our weekly service on Wednesdays at 7p. This service includes the Lord's Supper every week and follows the readings from the Sunday coming up using an Evening Setting of the Divine Service.
