Paw Prints Animal Hospital was founded in 1984 by Dr. Griese and Dr. Holmes. Their first hospital was located on Greenbush and Sagamore Parkway. This location was moved to 2506 State Rd 25 S. in the early 1990s. A second location was established in 1988 at our present location 2917 Old US 231 South. In 1999 a new building was built to meet the demands of our growing practice and the growing population on the south side of town. With the opening of the new bridge to West Lafayette and Purdue University, our south hospital became accessible within a few minutes drive. In 2004, Dr. Griese purchased Paw Prints from the parent corporation to become the sole owner of Paw Prints Animal Hospital. We have been an accredited hospital with AAHA since 1985, earning the highest accreditation standards possible. Our staff includes multiple licensed veterinarians and technicians along with many educated support staff to ensure that your pet receives the best quality care possible. Paw Prints Animal Hospital is a fully equipped veterinary medical and surgical facility. Paw Prints has a full body radiology machine, state of the art dental equipment with digital dentistry radiographs, fully stocked pharmacy, in-house laboratory for quick efficient test results, surgery suite, surgery recovery area, three examination rooms, fully stocked dietary inventory, critical patient monitoring area, and isolation suites for contagious patients. Paw Prints Animal Hospital also offers boarding, grooming, and bathing for the convenience of the clients and patients. I graduated from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and received a Masters of Hospital Administration from the executive Krannert/AHHA in 1990. I have owned Paw Prints Animal Hospital since 1984. I have three children Blake, Rachel and Tom. All off them have graduated from college and left home, which makes us empty nesters. Gai, my wife, works as an interior decorator and owns her own business called Transitions by Design where she makes and sells granite cheese and sushi trays. Outside of work I enjoy gourmet cooking and love to collect wines from around the world. As a small boy I worked on my grandparents farm in Southern Indiana helping with the crops and livestock during the summers, this influence along with my exposure to small animals at a local veterinarians office as a kennel boy now called "animal care specialist", and my love for medicine led me to become a veterinarian. When I am not being a veterinarian I deal in real estate. I am a licensed real estate broker in the Sate of Indiana. I invest in houses with Norfleet Builders to build new homes and small commercial buildings in the Lafayette area. I have two Italian greyhounds named Sweet Pea and Olive. I feel blessed to be a veterinarian in a great town and enjoy serving the Lafayette community. View

I started working at Paw Prints in 2006 as a receptionist. In June of 2009 I took on the role as the Practice Manager and love learning the ins and outs of the veterinary field. I am an active member of the Greater Lafayette Commerce in which I'm involved in both the education comittee and small business committee, and I am also a member of Tippy Connect. In my free time you can find me riding my 2 horses, or playing with my dog Bailey. I look forward to meeting you and your loving pets! View

I was born and raised in the beautiful island of San Juan, Puerto Rico. I moved to the United States a few years ago to obtain a Bachelors degree in Animal Science Technology from the University of Rhode Island in August of 2003. Recently, I graduated with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University in December of 2009. I have been working for Paw Prints since January of 2010. I love my work, enjoy traveling, cherish my adorable Caribbean companion named Mimosa, and adore my family and friends. Hi! I'm Cynthia Spears, team leader of the grooming and bathing department at Paw Prints Animal Hospital. I have been in the grooming field for over 12 years. I previously owned my own salon. I have been at Paw Prints Animal Hospital since July of 2007 and have never been more pleased with the staff and facilities here. Dr. Brenda Bunton is a 2000 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also received her undergraduate and Masters Degrees from Purdue University of Animal Sciences. She has been employed by Paw Prints Animal Hospital since January 2001. Dr. Bunton enjoys visiting with puppies and kittens and watching them mature to happy healthy family members. She also works with medically ill patients and performs soft tissue surgery. Dr. Bunton and her husband Mark, who is also a Purdue Alumnus, stay busy chasing after their two sons and daughter. The entire family is loyal Purdue fans, and enjoys attending as many Purdue sporting and entertaining events as possible. At home they enjoy the company of the Yellow Lab "Sugar" and multiple barn cats. Occasionally they will raise a steer or two on their mini farm. Come visit us at Paw Prints Animal Hospital.
