A Little About Sherrill
I am a local gal and lived in Culver my entire life except for when I was in college and when my husband and I lived in Hawaii. Even then we were in Culver every summer. I have seen many changes in and around Culver. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the history of Culver with others.
My first love was teaching kindergarten and first grade. In 1988 I was asked to help in the sales office at the Culver Cove when there was nothing there but a sales trailer. I found it interesting and decided to get my sales and broker’s licenses. In 1992 I opened my own office and have always been an office of ‘one.’ I enjoy working with my other broker friends and especially love helping my customers and clients make their dreams come true. The most thrilling part of a transaction is seeing the glow of happiness and excitement when the person knows they have found their perfect home they want to purchase or rent.
When I decided to start my own business I had to think of a name. After living in Hawaii (my husband is from Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii) and becoming familiar with the ‘aloha spirit,’ I decided I wanted to somehow convey to the public my desire to promote this aloha to everyone I would work with. So, one may ask, what is ‘aloha’ Perhaps the following will help to clarify it for you and I am also hoping that someday I will be able to work with you and share the ‘aloha’ with you!

Aloha means welcome; what I have you
may have, share with me.
Loke maika’i means what I say comes
from my heart; I have good intentions.
Olu’olu means happy; happy doing for
others, an Hawaiian heritage.
Ha’aha’a means humility and meekness;
we are happy to serve.
Aloha means love; near or far, you are
always in our heart.
