Here is "need to know" info about FVIR gas water heaters

many brands of FVIR gas heaters now come with a LINT FILTER that must be taken apart and cleaned quarterly or your warranty is void!!
Bradford and Rheem do not have this design flaw.

2. What brands have " lawsuits" and defects that they have failed to fix properly ??

3 Beware of warranties! Most places offer a poor Labor warranty. So YOU pay for repairs just 1 year from now, or do them yourself.!!!

Look folks, if it boldly states right on the heater.. Do not call the hardware store back about problems...call this 1-800 # for help--you were "hung out to dry" on day 1.
If they transfer you over to India, then what??

5. Can the " plumbers helper " sent to your home speak English? Will this sub, sub contractor have a lisc. + insurance?

6 Its wise to put the heater in a PAN to contain water damage. Will they haul away the old heater for free?
7 If you have high pressure, consider a Thermal Expansion tank and Pressure Reducing valve. If you are not interested , say "no thanks" and sign off on them..
