Now open downtown! Cafe Rene's is open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 2 pm at 50 South Meridian. We offer our usual pastries as well as coffee and espresso beverages. Come get your fix!
After working at various restaurants and country clubs in the city, A. Rene Trevino got tired of working for other people making only certain types of desserts. He wanted to provide stellar European-style breads and pastries at a price and in a way that everyone could enjoy. With a deep breath, A. Rene Trevino opened Renes Bakery, Inc on March 12, 2004. With a small staff (of ONE!), the bakery started with a handful of products to sell. Over time, Rene has added staff and product. Now, in its second year, Renes Bakery, Inc boasts eight full- and part-time employees with a rather large sampling of breads / pastries, given the size of the bakery.
Future hopes for Renes Bakery, Inc include expanding the bakery to offer seating and an even greater variety of breads and pastries maybe even quiche, sandwiches and soups, too!
Come visit us in Broad Ripple. We're open Wednesday through Saturday 7 am to 5 pm, Sunday 8 am to 12 pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. Here's a map to our location.
