50th Anniversary Celebration
Bishop Chatard High School will soon be celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Would you like to help plan the celebration? Come to a Celebration Planning Meeting on Wed, Dec. 1 at 6pm in the St. Benedict conference room. All are welcome! Thanksgiving Meal at BCHS
Recognizing that there is only one food pantry in the BCHS area code, the BCHS Student Council is sponsoring a free hot Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, from 1-3pm in the Bishop Chatard cafeteria. They will be able to serve a hot meal to the first 300 that arrive.
Volunteers: Many volunteers, especially parents, are needed from 11am to 4pm to help with the meal. Come for an hour or two, or the whole time. Please contact Robin Kontor at rkontor@bishopchatard.org to volunteer.
Canned Goods Food Drive begins Nov. 5
Each November, the Bishop Chatard High School food drive brings in thousands of cans for charities in the city. This year's 'Canamania 2010' has a goal of 38,000 cans. Find out how you can help! details and donation list
» Girls Varsity Basketball vs Cathedral at Hinkle Fieldhouse The Girls Varsity Basketball team will play Cathedral at 5:00PM at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Wed, Nov. 24. » Parents In Touch sponsors Advent Reflection: Dec. 6 All parents are invited to learn more about the Catholic Chuch's teaching on Advent and how it applies to the lives of high school students in a presentation on Mon, Dec. 6 entitled "The End of the World As We Know It". The talk, given by Fr. Peter Marshall from St. Pius X Parish, will be held from 6:00-7:00pm in the BCHS cafeteria.

» Military Care Packages from BCHS If you know of a member of the military stationed away from home during the holidays, please send BCHS teacher Nicole Croddy the individual's name and the address where a package can be mailed. Nicole is spearheading an effort to send Christmas care packages to any BCHS alumnus, friend or family member who is serving in the military.
