Years in Business - Founded in 1892 by Max Irmscher, Sr., the Great-Grandfather of the current owner, Thomas A. Irmscher. The company has completed commercial, industrial and institutional projects up to $75 million. The typical size project is between $2 million and $15 million.
Geographical - National, with emphasis on the Midwest, including Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and experience in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
General Type and Character of Projects - Over 85% of our projects are Design/Build with a heavy emphasis on the planning phase of a project. Irmscher has completed over 44 Design/Build physician and hospital owned medical facilities. Irmscher is also currently focusing on the design and building of student housing.
