November & December Lawn Care Tips

Just because your grass stops growing when the weather starts to turn cold doesn't mean it is time to forget about your lawn until Spring. Make sure we vaccuum the leafs up from the soil. We dont want thatch to occur or have leafs sitting on the grass, as both can cause damage to the lawn. At this time its already to late to add grass seed so leaf removal is very important. Always do a winter fertilzier in November or December. Its not strange to cut off some of the tips of the grass in the winter, this keeps the lawn on a schuldule and preapres take off for spring growth.
