CommunityGodhas placed us in the Kankakee Valley Community to minister for His glory. We have members and attendees from as far away Lowell, Hobart, Rensselaer, Valparaiso, Cedar Lake, and Kouts. But most of our folks are from DeMotte, Hebron, and Wheatfield. We believe that God has a specific mission for us to minister to our community by faithfully representing our Lord Jesus in our daily lives.
BibleAlthough in the middle of our name, it is the basis of all that we believe. God has spoken to humanity through His Son and through His Word. We are fully committed to being a Bible-based church. This means that we seek to proclaim Gods Word each Sunday in our worship. It also means that we teach our children the Bible in our Sunday School classes. And we seek to obey Gods Word in our personal lives and in the community.
While Jesus was still on earth, He stated that I will build my church. Although we are a local church, it is our desire to be a representative of the universal church which is all of Jesus true followers.
