Atlas Valuation Solutions was founded in October 2003 to provide machinery and process equipment appraisal and property tax consulting services to the industrial and commercial marketplace. Atlas also provides appraisal and consulting expertise assistance to: Big-4 and second-tier accounting firms, appraisal companies, property tax consulting firms, banks and insurance companies.
Prior to founding Atlas Valuation Solutions, Mr. Chartier invested 25 years working in the fire insurance industry and valuation service departments of 3 nationally recognized accounting firms. He held management positions responsible for: conducting complex valuation assignments, marketing appraisal and property tax services, and teaching staff consultants valuation theory and its proper application.
Mr. Chartier has an ASA designation (Accredited Senior Appraiser) in Machinery & Technical Specialty within the American Society of Appraisers; and is a past President of the Chicago chapter of the ASA, winning the Best Public Relations award during his tenure. He also holds a certified "Appraiser/Assessor Level II" designation within the state of Indiana.
Atlas is comprised of a network of highly specialized appraisers and tax consultants, each with several years experience working in the insurance, appraisal, auction, banking and property tax consulting markets.
How Atlas Valuation Solutions differs
We offer a "blended product" of services. The combining of appraisal technique with ad valorem tax and property records accounting is very effective. Replacement cost new, fair market value and property record enhancement can often be addressed within the same timeframe.
Atlas provides replacement costs for fire insurance purposes. Fair market value appraisal and abnormal obsolescence analysis can be used to test the accuracy of your property tax assessment. Fixed asset property records reliability will be enhanced throughout the process.
These services are typically sold on an individual basis by other service providers. Atlas Valuation Solutions delivers a single multi-dimensional product in a timely, cost effective manner. We strive to make the complex understandable.
