That's why OVHC focuses exclusively on providing an unwavering standard of excellence in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart disease.
OVHC began treating patients in 1980 from a single Evansville office and expanded to provide cardiac care expertise through additional offices, physician outreach initiatives and cardiovascular health screenings in Henderson, Ky., southwestern Indiana, and southeastern Illinois. Our practice grew to include pediatric and adult cardiology; electrophysiology; and cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery services.
In 2007, OVHC established a strategic relationship with the St. Mary's Hospital Heart Institute to open the Center for Advanced Medicine, which offers centralized delivery of outpatient cardiac care for the entire family in a conveniently located, high-tech environment.
To support this partnership, we moved OVHC's main office to the St. Mary's Hospital campus and expanded our diagnostic capabilities in the Center for Advanced Medicine. We believe this unique physician-hospital model offers our patients and their families the very best options for cardiac care delivery.
