Provide all students with a broad musical background so they can use their skills in a variety of settings.
Suzette Ewer began her piano studies at age five. She was so short that someone had to lift her onto the bench. Her lessons continued until high school graduation. As a student, Suzette regularly participated in the Piano Guild, Federation, and spring recitals.
Miss Ewer holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Degree from the University of Evansville. Additional studies included two summers at Indiana University.
Miss Ewer has taught private piano and voice lessons since 1985. Originally skeptical of group lessons, a colleague encouraged her to pursue Harmony Road Certification from the founder in Portland, Oregon. The training changed her perspective. Miss Ewer has observed the team spirit, friendly competition, and rapid learning that occurs as the result of group study. A combination of private and group would be best for most students, in her opinion.
