The Allen family opened the Roll Arena in Anderson, Indiana back in 1977 to provide a fun and safe
place for friends and families to come and skate. The Allen's spent most of their lives skating at various
skating rinks, in fact Mrs. Allen and her children also skated competitively for many years. They grew to
love the sport of skating and wanted to share this fun sport with others. The Roll Arena supports the
Anderson community by hosting several school fund raising parties and donating to various local charities
throughout the year, but what their really proud of is providing a safe and fun place for friends and
families to meet and spend quality time together, oh and of course burn some calories too.
The Allen family still owns and operates the Roll Arena and would like to welcome you to come join us
during one of our open skating sessions or book your next event with us!
The Roll Arena offers year around public roller skating in their modern 20,000 sq
ft. fully air-conditioned building. The rink also boasts a giant hand-carved mural,
cut right into the carpeted walls surrounding the skate floor! This is a one -of -a
kind work done by a local artist. Their sound and light show is one of the best in
Indiana, plus, for the hungry there is a full service concession area with everything
from hot dogs and popcorn to nachos and yummy pizza. If you need a break from
skating, come check out the video arcade or play a game of fooseball.
In addition to year around public skating, the rink may also be reserved by any
size group for private events. Private parties make terrific fund raisers for
schools, youth group outings, scout groups, field trips, company functions and even
private birthday parties! The Roll Arena is also the best place in town for
birthday's with your choice of a private birthday event or our budget minded
session packages available during our afternoon open skating sessions. Parties must
