Go ye therefor, and teach all nations, baptizing then in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. Mark 16:16
Baptism delivers forgiveness of sins, rescues from death and the devil, and gives eternal life to all who believe this, as the words and promises of God say.
We are, by the grace of God, a Christian congregation thankful for the Faith handed down from our Evangelical Lutheran fathers. We therefore, use the historic Liturgy of the Western Church catholic as received in The Lutheran Service Book, setting three, from which we conduct the Divine Service celebrating the Sacrament of the Altar every Sunday.
Further, we confess without reservation, the Faith of the Book of Concord of 1580 according to which the Word of Christ is preached, and taught purely, and plainly, and thereby rightly dividing the Law and the Gospel. The Sacraments are administered according to Christ's institution.
Finally, We are a rural congregation—small and friendly—with every good and perfect gift one might expect in a Church, where all who attend come away saying, “we are finally home.”
