In India, IAS is considered to be one of the most difficult examinations, but with determination and complete preparation, anyone can crack it easily. Every year around 5 lakh students appear in the IAS Preliminary Examination and only 15000 are able to pass it to achieve the second level.

MPPSC Examination and Selection Process

The MPPSC conducts several examinations and is one of the most important and prestigious examinations for the Commission. It is organized for the recruitment of candidates for the state PCS (Provincial Civil Service) cadre. PCS officers are the supreme services which are controlled by the state government. The exam is conducted in two important stages, namely preliminary exam and main exam, for which MPPSC study material is available online. Preliminary Examination

It consists of two objective type papers; Paper 1 will be for General Studies, and Paper 2 will be for General Aptitude Test. Both the papers will be objective type and each question will have four possible answers. Candidates have to choose an answer from among the four options. Each paper will have 100 questions of 2 marks each, and you will be given 2 hours to complete the test. Each question paper will be in English and Hindi language.

Main Examination

It will have a written test consisting of an interview test. In the written examination, there will be six papers of the traditional essay type. And then, there will be an interview test which will carry 175 marks.
